With a career spanning over 25 years in the live entertainment industry, Matt continues to contribute to numerous iconic productions worldwide.

In 2021, he won the Teatro Best Sound Design award for his work on Chicago the Musical in Mexico.

Since then, his involvement with Chicago has continued, most recently opening productions in Harbin (2025 China tour), Athens (Eastern Europe tour), and the UK (2024/25 tour). His extensive credits with Chicago also include productions in Madrid, Dubai, Tel Aviv, Paris, London, and across multiple International tours.

Theatre credits also include West Side Story (Sydney Opera House, Australian tour, International tour), Sweet Charity (Athens), Priscilla Queen of the Desert (UK tours, Amsterdam, Tel Aviv, Athens), Fiddler on the Roof (Athens), and Steel Magnolias (UK tour), with recent consultancy on the Karlin Musical Theatre’s production of Beetlejuice in Prague.

2025 sees Matt return for his third year at both Glastonbury Festival’s The Other Stage and the F1 British Grand Prix event at Silverstone.

It also marks his 10th year working with the Teenage Cancer Trust’s annual shows at the Royal Albert Hall, supporting headline performances by artists such as Kasabian, Ed Sheeran, The Corrs, Liam Gallagher, and The Who.

Matt has extensive experience mixing for a wide range of artists, including John Grant, Amy Macdonald, Jamie Scott, Iain Archer, Katy B, One Eskimo, Lee Ryan, Gareth Gates, Pixie Lott, and Kubb. His systems expertise has supported artists such as Little Simz, Ian Brown, Bicep, Girl In Red, Erykah Badu, Tindersticks, Blur, Duran Duran, Elvis Costello, and Super Furry Animals. He has also produced live recordings for Universal Music, Sony BMG, Endemol, and iTunes.

Broadcast work includes The Big Breakfast (2001–2003) and televised performances with the above artists on including The Ellen DeGeneres Show,The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and The Janice Long Show on BBC Radio 2.
